Douglas “Doug” Woods, 73, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, at the Columbus Community Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, at Gass Haney Funeral Home with Father Joe Miksch officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Hartman Post 84.

Douglas Vincent Woods was born on April 29, 1950, in Manchester, New Hampshire, to Clarence and Jeanne (Privey) Woods. He grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts, and graduated from Dedham High School i...
