Anthony Beale, Adriyanna Mazour and Stella Williams presented a check of $884.25 to the Nuckolls County Fairboard at the Lawrence-Nelson versus Superior basketball games on Friday, Feb. 9. They also participated in the fundraiser hosted by the Class of 2029 for the Nuckolls County Stomp. Thank you to everyone who attended the Lawrence-Nelson versus Superior basketball games on Friday, Feb. 9, and participated in the fundraiser hosted by the Class of 2029 for the Nuckolls County Cancer Stomp This fundraiser was a part of their English unit “Change Agent.” In this unit, students read stories and articles about how youngsters made changes for themselves, their communities and around the world. The class wanted to make a difference in their community by organizing a fundraiser for the Nuckolls County Cancer Stomp.
