According to Tami Sharp, Nuckolls County treasurer, the delinquent taxpayer’s list that appeared in The Nuckolls County Locomotive-Gazette on Feb. 8, 15 and 22 and in The Superior Express on Feb. 22 means that those taxes are up for sale.

Sharp said that the deadline for paying these taxes will be before 10 a.m., March 4, in order to avoid a tax lien along with additional administrative fees equal to or greater than 100 dollars, that will be created if a private investor purchases the delinquent taxes pursuant to section 77-1818
