SHS hosts job fair for three schools
Cody Funk, Nathan Stokes and William Schaefer, Lawrence-Nelson High School students show interest in learning about a career in law enforcement from State Troopers Wes Peters and Justin Stindt at career fair on Monday at Superior High School.
Superior High School hosted a job fair, Monday. Thirty-five vendors set up in the gymnasium from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Lawrence-Nelson and Red Cloud High Schools joined Superior students to see what opportunities the vendors had to offer. Lots of booths had trivia and prizes for students who engaged with their business. Others explained what their job entailed or fun stories they've experienced with their business.
One senior reported, "I did not get to all the vendors, but it was a good learning experience and it was lots of fun."
