On Feb. 20, Nuckolls County Commissioners met with the public twice, once after the regular meeting and again in the evening, to answer questions concerning the rehab of the current building or the possibility of a new building. A handful of folks turned up for the morning meeting and around 20 residents made it in the evening.

The only new news to report is that a guesstimate of $10 million was made for the renovation of the current building. I say guesstimate because without opening up the walls to see what horrors they may or may not contain is an unknown factor. If renovated, it is t...
