Del Duane Kriger, 66, of Ashland, died March 7, from a sudden unexpected illness at CHI Immanuel Hospital, Omaha.

Del was born on Oct. 14, 1957, in Superior. He graduated from Nelson High School in 1976. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed puzzles and trivia.

Del was predeceased by his parents, Rudolph and Elaine Kriger of Nelson.

He is survived by his siblings: Kenneth and Mary of Hastings, John of Kearney, and Kelvin (Lois) of Lincoln, Nebraska; a nephew and niece.

His funeral will be held at a later date.
