Presidential election results on website

Tuesday Kansas voters were asked to go to the polls to cast their ballots in a presidential primary election. As the polls closed after this issue was printed, we are unable to report the election results in this week’s printed newspaper.

Jewell County voters had an opportunity to go to the polls on Tuesday and cast a ballot to show which candidate they would like their party to nominate as a candidate for President of the United States. We will be generous and say the turnout was light. A total of 220 votes were cast. Of these, 213 were Republican and seven by Democrats.On the Republican tick...
