Soap making class at the Formoso Library was well attended. Kimberly Waide, Formoso, led the class.

The Formoso Library has been seeking to find ways to be more engaging with it's community. They've previously held genealogy classes, a jewelry making class and a card making workshop. This month the library hosted a soap making class. The class was led by Kimberly Waide of Formoso and was attended by 21 individuals. The class was a demonstration of the process of how to customize your own bars of soap using a melt and pour base, coloring, and fragrances. After the class, everyone was invited to take home their own bar of soap. There was great interest from the attendants and even comments made about wanting another soap class in the future.

If you have any talents or hobbies that you would like to share as a volunteer with the library - be sure and get in touch with them. The library is open to more ideas for future engagement with the community!
