The Superior High School boys golf team hosted a quadrangular match at the Superior Country Club Thursday. The match was moved from Tuesday, March 26, because of the impending threat of inclement weather.
Teams from Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Lawrence-Nelson and Red Cloud competed in the par 36, 9-hole match.
Lawrence-Nelson posted the low team score of 165. Red Cloud was in at 173, Superior listed a team score of 184 while B-D-S was in with a score of 192.
Colten Butler led Superior with his round of 37 which tied for first place in the individual scoring standings. Carsyn Koening was in with his round of 48. Cooper Ehlers listed a round of 49. Ayron Grassman posted a round of 50. Brayden Wulf recorded a round of 54. The four lowest individual scores comprise the team score.
Superior hosts the Superior Invitational at the Superior Country Club today (Thursday). The Wildcats will compete at the Sandy Creek Invitational, Tuesday, being played over the Crooked Creek Country Club course in Clay Center.
