4 on the Floor entertained at Easter Brunch

Youth had a blast hunting for eggs at the Easter egg hunt at Jewell County Hospital, Friday.

4 on the Floor, a barbershop quartet from Hastings, provided entertainment for Jewell County Hospital's Easter Brunch on Friday. They have been singing with their current members for seven years. 4 on the Floor sings a variety of songs including songs from Elvis and the Beach Boys. They also sing patriotic songs and hymns. This quartet enjoys entertaining and has done so for church groups, reunions, birthdays, parades, anniversaries and ball games.

Madison Boucher, Oakleigh Arizona and Henry Boucher eagerly wait to start hunting for eggs at the Burr Oak Easter egg hunt.

Caden Hoffman, the quartet's youngest member, has an unlimited upper range that makes him the perfect tenor. He started singing barbershop in Adam's Central High School in the "Music Man" musical and also played the lead role in "Oklahoma." Hoffman runs his own construction business in Hastings.

Warren Hull sings mostly lead and likes to use his wide vocal range to record songs with all four parts for a hobby. Warren works at CPI as petroleum operations manager.

Richard Johnson sings mostly baritone but ocassionally sings lead in some songs. He is a retired teacher who enjoys traveling with his wife, Linda, and time with his five grandchildren.

Ed Barnes, with his pure lower range, sings bass. He is retired from the State of Nebraska where he worked at the research farm at Clay Center. Ed and his wife, Judy, also like to travel.

The attendees of the Easter Brunch enjoyed the vocal abilities of this quartet, who at times had the entire audience singing along.
