Solar Eclipse

A total solar eclipse will occur on Monday, April 8. It will be the last total solar eclipse visible from the United States until 2044. While the path of totality will be south of our local area, we should still experience 70 to 85 percent of the eclipse in eastern Nebraska. The Nelson Library has free viewing glasses, especially for adults, available at no cost. Stop in during business hours to pick up a pair.
