Lawrence-Nelson seniors Sydney Biltoft, Bailey Ceder, Roy Davidson, Nathan Elledge, Connor Janda, Jacob Kathman, Nolan Ostdiek, Emily Watts, and Riley Funk all retired their FFA jackets at the L-N FFA banquet on Friday, April 19.
Lawrence-Nelson FFA celebrated 2023-2024 with their annual FFA Banquet on Friday, April 19, at the high school in Nelson. Nearly 200 members, parents and guests gathered to eat a meal catered by the FFA members. FFA members in food science and the officers smoked pork loin, cooked four roasters of cheesy potatoes, and used the L-N FFA chapter chickens' eggs to bake 20 cakes. After the meal, students were recognized for earning Discovery, Greenhand, Chapter and State degrees. The nine seniors retired their FFA jackets, and the 2024-2025 L-N FFA officer team was announced.
