As part of the area’s Memorial Day activities, Quilts of Valor will be presented to three veterans who honorably served our country in various services and theaters of operation. They will go to Darrell Jensen, senior master sergeant retired, Norman Reeve, senior master sergeant United States Air Force retired, and Ken Hamel, U.S. Army retired.
Their friends, families and the entire community has been invited to help honor the veterans and hear their stories.
The quilts will be presented at 2 p.m. in the Nelson Community Center.
