Patsy Jo Sims, the daughter of Fred Carl and Etta (Fields) Nees, was born July 11, 1935, at Jewell. She died on May 24, at the Parkview Haven in Deshler, Nebraska, at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 13 days.
Patsy received her formal education attending and graduating from the Jewell public schools. She was employed for a time as a bus driver with the Hastings Tribune. Patsy was united in marriage with Edwin Sims on Sept. 23, 1978.
