NCYC will hold Virtual Day Camp

The annual North Central Youth Camp will be held this year. It will have the same director and many of the same leaders but a new format. The camp will be virtual!

The virtual camp will be held on June 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers will be those going into third grade up to those going into eighth grade.

Director Jim Rice (pastor of Trinity, Ionia and Harmony United Methodist Churches) will conduct the camp. Amy Rice (Trinity UMC), is in charge of games and snacks. She said she is “excited and can’t wait to see the campers make Arm Pit Fudge.”

Carl Warner (Rose Valley UMC) will again be in charge of the music and worship. Kimberly Waide (Formoso Community Church) and Pastor Rod Rose (Esbon Church) are group leaders. Kerma Crouse (Trinity UMC) will be organizing the virtual skit. Harold Topliff (Ionia UMC) is directing crafts and the campers will be making birdhouses.

Any camper who would like to attend this event needs to contact Pastor Jim Rice at 785-250-6862 as soon as possible so their “Camp Box” can be prepared!
