ISPs offering better service for Superior

Superior’s three internet service providers continue to upgrade and improve the services being offered. Faster broadband is now available from Kinetic by Windstream. As part of ongoing investments in its 18-state network footprint, Kinetic has deployed fiber optic lines to improve the service the company can provide to Superior customers.

In this issue of The Expresss, Glenwood has placed a large advertisement touting faster internet speeds. Superior iNet has also improved in local service speeds.

“Now more than ever, staying connected is critically important,” said Jeff Small, president of Kinetic. “Our customers need connections to allow them to live, work and go to school wherever they live.”

The Kinetic deployment brings the availability of gigabit speeds to approximately 1,200 homes and businesses in the area. Residential customers can take advantage of these speeds to work from home, to stream video or for gaming while navigating the internet. Business customers can take advantage of fiber fast speed together with Kinetic’s voice and award-winning collaboration system, HD Meeting by OfficeSuite UC.

The project is part of a multi-year investment program to deploy fiber and fiber-like services to communities across the Kinetic network. That investment means when internet use soared more than 30 percent earlier this year, the network was equipped to handle it without slowing down.
