The Rock Hills Post Prom committee, composed of parents and volunteers represnting the junior and senior classes, has put together a post prom picnic for the junior and senior classes. This event will take place from 5 to 9 p.m., on Friday, July 31 at the Mankato City Park. It is encouraged that attendees wear casual clothing as there won’t be a formal hour.

Some things for attendees to look forward to are a meal and games including the new disc golf. One local business is sponsoring a snow cone vendor while a local family is bringing their cotton candy machine. There will also be prizes that all attendees can win.

This picnic is like the after prom parties which have been held in the past where junior and senior students were awarded prizes at the end of the night. Each attendee will also be presented with a post prom picnic t-shirt.
