Superior Cross Country team travels to Fairbury

The Superior Cross Country team traveled to Fairbury on Thursday. A.J. Leibel medaled and placed 14th, Brett Miller placed 42nd out of 116 runners, Gavin Ekstein placed 53rd and Taygun Rothchild 70th. All of them improved on their times from when they ran at Fairbury last year. Also, Grady Henderson came in 103rd. Jedd Whitmore was unable to attends.
The top 15 runners were: 1) Eli Bottom, Falls City, 17:54; 2) Tyler Neville, McCool Junction; 3) Gavin McGerr, Lincoln Christian; 4) Carter Holen, Lincoln Christian; 5) Brayton Jarosek, South Central; 6) Dalton Fisher, Lincoln Christian; 7) Logan Larson, Tri-County; 8) Tyler Wheeler, Lincoln Christian; 9) Jonathon Wing, Lincoln Christian; 10) Hudson Opp, Lincoln Christian; 11) Jared Hawley, Falls City; 12) Isaac Wegrzyn, Lincoln Christian; 13) Wesley Havelka, Freeman; 14) Aric Leibel, Superior; 15) Noah Jurgens, Freeman.
The top five men's teams were: 1) Lincoln Christian; 2) McCool Junction; 3) Falls City; 4) Freeman; 5) Beatrice.
The Superior team placed 10th out of 13 teams.
