The Superior Express -

After losing to Centennial in three sets, Monday, the Lady Cats went on to play Thayer Central in the Third Place Match. This match also went three sets. Thayer Central won the first set 10 to 25. Superior won the last two sets 25 to 21 and 25 to 21. They fought back to win after getting behind by quite a deficit. Evidently, the Superior High School players were determined to win.

Coach Blevins commented, "A very hard fought match."
