There will be a government commodities distribution for families meeting income guidelines for the Jewell-Randall-Ionia area at 1 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 21 at the Jewell Apartments Commons Area, 107 S. Lincoln.

The following foods are scheduled to be distributed: corn, mixed fruit, sliced peaches, walnut pieces, bag of apples, whole frozen chicken, pecan pieces, orange juice, canned chicken, frozen chicken fillets, frozen chicken strips, dry split peas, frozen pork ham and sliced cheese.
