Superior Boys Basketball lose two away games

Zeke Meyer goes up for two points for Superior during their game with Doniphan-Trumbull. at Doniphan, Friday.

The Wildcats faced off against St. Cecilia last Tuesday. Both teams came ready to play in the first quarter exchanging baskets and ending tied 12 to 12 after the first. St. Cecilia picked up the pressure over the next two quarters gaining a 12 point lead off a 22-10 run. Superior made a nice effort in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough. The final score was St. Cecilia 44, Superior 36. "We didn't handle their pressure very well tonight. We can't have 20 turnovers and expect to win ball games. I keep telling the guys we're close.
