Superior students present spring music concert

 

Allison White, Superior upper level music instructor, directs the high school choir in concert last Thursday evening. The Superior Public Middle School and Senior High School presented "Music, The Sound of My Heart," last Thursday evening in concert. Because of COVID-19 regulations, each student was limited to four invited guests.

The seventh and eighth grade band performed "Battle Creek March" by Michael Story, "Champions Rising" by Adrian B. Sims and "Abandoned Treasure Hunt" by Rob Grice.

The high school choir sang "Fly Away Home" by Pinkzebra, " Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair" arranged by Meredith Tompkins and Ashley Dame, "Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel" arranged by Roger Emerson and "Never One Thing" by May Erlewine.

The high school band played "Whitewater Run" by Ed Kiefer, "Roar" by John M. Pasternak, "But For the Love of Ireland" by James Swearingen and "Bravura" arranged by Robert E. Foster, Jr.

Members of the seventh and eighth grade band are flutes - Rayne Biltoft, Braylen Fielder and Kaitlyn Nielsen; clarinets - Faith Butler, Cooper Ehlers, Jada Hemion, Hunter Mazzulla, Khloe Mundorf and Jayden Watts; bass clarinet - Brooke Ekstein; alto saxophone - Cora Schnakenberg, Bo Streit; trumpets - Dylan Edwards, Ava Kirchhoff and Chrystina McGowan; French horn - Mia Gardner and Parker Littrell; Euphonium - Lincoln Sanders; tuba - Carsyn Frasier; percussionists - Jordan Duncan, Lenden Worm and Aydin Young.

Members of the high school choir are sopranos - Haley Blackstone, Victoria Fleming, Kyalin Fullerton, Cailey Hanson, Kya Hodges, Cecily Majors, Janison Majors, Nadia McMeen, Neah McMeen, Brianna Stricklin, Grace Thompson and Lauren Tietjen; altos - Jade Ahrens, Chloe Butler, Kaylee Flaata, Sherice Frasier, Tia Gonzales-Hunter, Raven Holland, Angelina Rabago Horton, Tylese Yanez; Baritones - Dominique Baumbach, Ty Boller, Harley Edwards, Tyler Everhart, Grady Henderson and Dereck Kirchhoff.

Leibel; trumpets -Sierra Blackburn, Robert Brockhaus, Kaylee Flaata, Sadie Rempel; French horn - Luke Jameson; electric bass - Isaac Hathway; trombones - Carsyn Koenig, Jackson Kuhlmann, Shayla Meyer, Ashleigh Primus, Tate Streit, Anders Webber; euphoniums - Emma Henderson, Taran Zoltenko; tuba - Todd Keifer; percussionists - Sophia Fullerton, Brooklynn Grabast, Dereck Kirchhoff, Clayton Morris and Owen Perrie.
