The Nebraska High School Hall of Fame held its 2021 induction ceremony at Lincoln East High School, Lincoln, Sunday.

The Fischer Family Award was presented to the Denny and Adeline Meyer family. The award honors families whose involvement, contributions and leadership made a significant impact on the high school sports scene. The award represents the strong family principles which are the basis for much of high school athletics.

Denny and Adeline Meyer resided near Superior. Denny was a dairy farmer while Adeline operated the Doll Fashions store. They were the parents of six sons: Dan, Randy,...
