Over the years this newspaper has printed stories about many lost things. Sometimes the lost animal or article is recovered, sometimes not. The largest lost story involved a boulder that fell off a truck. It was so big the city’s front end loader was required to move it off the street.

It wasn’t long after the boulder was found laying in the street that its owner was found and reunited with the boulder which was being transported from the mountains to a new home in Nebraska.
