The Superior High School volleyball team opens their season today (Thursday) when they host the Thayer Central Titans at the high school gymnasium.

The Wildcats have a new head coach in Jessica Diehl, the third head coach in three seasons.. She has previous coaching experience at Blue Hill as well as other schools.

The team compiled a 23-10 season last year. They finished in fourth place at the state C-2 tournament.

The team lost a major force with the graduation of Shayla Meyer.
