USD 107 BOE hires Zoey Gurka as an elementary para

The Boy and Girls Scouts made their way around Mankato bringing Christmas cheer. They stopped at the newspaper office and sang "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer." Staff members reported, "They were amazing."

President Kenny Mizner called the Dec. 12 regular meeting of the Board of Education for USD No. 107 to order. Those present were Mizner, Marc Grout, Brandon Hollerich, Wayne Frost, Bobi Fogo, Brenden Wirth, Justin Angleton, Rex Boley, Sam Meyers, Cassi Bozarth, Amanda Kendall and Janet Higer.

White Rock Electric installed the new lights in the bus barn and storage room. They will install the lights for the two classrooms at the practice gym over Christmas break.

Floor finish will be put on the gym floor at the high school and the practice gym on Dec. 27.
