Games of skill and games of chance permeate American society for many years, and the 2022-23 college football bowl games have been involved in many ways.

Dick’s Place in Lawrence has sponsored a contest for many a year and for this year, the winner was Mr. Ryan Kile of Lawrence. His entry beat out 300 similar entries. But it wasn’t easy. Mr. Kile and one other man from Deshler both missed only six games in the contest, but Ryan’s skill with the ‘tie-breaker’ entry won him the first place finish.
