Tour Nebraska route crossing Nuckolls County in June

This year’s NRCA Tour Nebraska featuring 440 or more older model automobiles will be crossing northern Nuckolls County on Saturday, June 3.

The cars are to leave Kearney at 7 a.m. and travel through Miller and Holdrege before stopping in Minden for the morning break. They are to be in Roseland at 10:45, Blue Hill at 11:05, Lawrence at 11:25 and stopping in Davenport from noon to 2 p.m. for a lunch break.

Returning to Kearney from Davenport they are to be in Ayr at 3 p.m, Alda at 3:40, Cairo at 4, Ravenna at 4:15 and back in Kearney at 4.45.

But with all such scheduled involving hundreds of people and many unforeseen challenges, the times are only approximate.

The community of Davenport is inviting area residents to bring their lawn chairs and line Maple Street to watch the cars arriving. On Sunday participants will head west from Kearney.

All vehicles entered in the 500 mile tour must be 30 years old or older. The tour travels in two groups spaced about 15 minutes apart.
