The general rain this area has been wanting for months arrived Friday night in time to cause the rescheduling of area football games. The Superior vs. Lawrence-Nelson game being played on Brodstone Field had less than 3 minutes left in the first quarter when it was delayed by lightining. The teams and student groups were moved to the school for shelter and fans were encouraged to go to their vehicles.
