Saturday, Nov. 18 was a lovely sunny day for the Nelson Rubies to trek to Davenport for lunch and to attend the opening of the Homegrown Craft and Vendor venue. Part of the Homegrown experience was to ride in a carriage pulled by a patient and beautiful black horse. A large garage sale featuring a number of retro and antique items was located in the area and became a drawing card for several of the Rubies also.
