While it is unusual for the Nelson Legion Family to meet twice in a month, items of interest to the Nelson Community required consideration before the next monthly meeting. Girls’ State and Boy’s State nominations were due to the department office on March 1 and March 15 respectively. It was necessary to finalize selections of those to represent Lawrence-Nelson Schools. Watch for the official announcement of the special young people chosen.
