Webber recently upgraded its street-security lighting from aging mercury vapor style lighting, to energy-efficient LED lighting. Twenty-four lights have been replaced to date. The new lighting improves safety, security, visibility and reduces the energy required for the security lights in the community. This project was funded by a grant from the Jewell County Community Foundation.
