Paul Bohnert, 65, died March 10, 2024, at Westview Manor in Peabody, Kansas. He was born on Feb. 2, 1959, in Concordia, Kansas, to Keith and Wanda (Swinton) Bohnert.

He grew up in Mankato, graduated from Mankato High School and attended Mankato Christian Church. He worked various jobs throughout his life until his health problems limited his ability to work. He worked at John Deere, Sunflower, Newell Implement and repaired lawn mowers. He liked animals, especially his dogs through the years. Everyone who knew Paul enjoyed his sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, Paxton Bohnert; sister, Carol Parker (Lonnie) of Clay Center, Kansas; and brother, Steven Bohnert (Tammy) of Mankato, Kansas.

His funeral will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Hospice; 301 N Main St Suite 300 Newton, Kansas 67114, Mankato Christian Church; 204 S Commercial Mankato, Ks 66956, or a mental health foundation of your choice.
