This week’s burger night winner at Rip City Inn is Bryan Simms.

Betty Bouray enjoyed Sweetheart brunch after church on Sunday at the Scandia United Methodist Church.

Kent and Dillon Bouray visited Klay, Kellin and Owen Bouray in Niles on Sunday afternoon.

The Rae Hobson Memorial Library was busy on Thursday and Friday putting together goodie plates, cupcakes and cookies and making deliveries in surrounding towns. This library fundraising event brought in close to $800 and they thank everyone for supporting this project.

The Scandia American Legion Auxilary will be putting on a Rummage-Bake sale with sloppy joe lunch from 8a.m. to 3p.m. on Sunday to benefit Pat Cline.

As of Feb. 29, Republic Oil-Rip City Inn will be closed on Saturdays until further notice. In case of emergency call 785-556-1265.

Pawnee Indian Museum will be opening on March 11 for the season.

Shayna Evert attended the funeral of her brother Nathan Notter on Saturday in Belleville.

Carolyn Simms and Kathaleen Marsechek were guests in the home of Marvin Bergstrom on Saturday.
