Rock Hills Jr.-Sr. High football COVID-19 information

The Rock Hills athletic director released the following information on the way football will be handled this year because of COVID-19.

Masks are encouraged as well as social distancing in the audience’s seating unless they are sitting in a family unit. There will be no limit on attendance. Visiting fans are allowed to bring lawn chairs and sit on the east end of the stadium on the track. It is asked to practice good sportsmanship and rule 52.

Vital Oxicide will be provided to sterilize the balls between possessions.

The football field is located east of the school. Dressing rooms will be provided at the high school girls locker room.

Restrooms will be available in the school’s north entrance area and on the way out to the field as well.

Visiting teams will perform warm-up activities at the north end of the football field. Concessions will be provided but will be limited to pre-packaged foods.

Visitor seating will be on the north side of the stands. All stands are on the west side of the field. Bring lawn chairs or be willing to sit on the grass anywhere outside the track.

Those attending may park south of the field on the grass on the side of the road, or park in the parking lot north of the school building. Teams are asked to provide their own towels.

Admission will be $5 for adults and $4 for students. Northern Plains League Passes will be accepted. Officals will be contracted by the NPL commissioner and must be KSHSAA certified.
