C. Ardell Talkington, 84, died Friday at his home in Red Cloud.

His funeral is planned for 10 a.m. Friday at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Red Cloud with the Rev. Steve Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Walnut Creek Cemetery south of Inavale.

Visitation will be held yesterday and today (Thursday) from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and Friday from 8 a.m. to service time at the church.

He was a former Nuckolls County road department engineer.
