Members of the Rock Hills High School boys and girls basketball teams were honored for their accomplishments with several post-season awards.

Lauren Whelchel, a sophomore, was named to the third team by Sports in Kansas. She was awarded an honorable mention by the Topeka Capital-Journal and the Wichita Eagle.

Jerrod Gillett, a senior, earned an honorable mention from the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association. Gillett and Davion McDonald, a senior, received honorable mentions from the Topeka Capital-Journal. Sports in Kansas named Gillett to its third team. McDonald earned an honorable mention....
