Allan D. Gaskill was born on April 21, 1936, to Orville and Georgia (Wolf) Gaskill. He died on his 85th birthday, Wednesday, April 21, at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital in Superior, Neb.

He graduated from Beloit High School in 1954. While he was in high school and in his early years, he participated in baseball, tennis and pool, as well as basketball and golf.
