The Superior Express -

The Superior High School golf team competed at the Sandy Creek Invitational at the Crooked Creek Country Club, Clay Center, Friday. The match was rescheduled from last Tuesday because of weather concerns.

Superior finished in ninth place in the 11 team field with a score of 417. Other teams in the field were Blue Hill, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Doniphan-Trumbull, Fillmore Central, High Plains Community, Lawrence-Nelson, Red Cloud, Thayer Central and the junior varsity and varsity squads from Sandy Creek. The four lowest individual scores on a team are used to calculate the team total.
