Von E. VanMeter, 70, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021. He was born in Concordia, Kan., on March 14, 1951, to Ivan and Lela VanMeter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Vonda Kaye.

Von was married to Alma Dean Johnson. To this union three daughters were born: Vonda (Mike) Hahne, Hastings, Neb., Deana (Taitum) Wood, Salina, and Kelli (Shane) Bruce, Phoenix, Ariz.
