Emily Harkness, Rock Hills Elementary's new MTSS paraeducator, moved to Northbranch from Haviland, seven years ago.

At 25 years old, Harkness started work as a paraeducator. After a year, she worked as a college librarian at Barclay College. Harkness was then a stay-at-home mom for 11 years. This is her first year at Rock Hills Elementary.

Harkness met her husband of 16 years at Barclay College. They have four children, ages 5, 9, 10 and 12. They also have a dog named Royal. In her free time, Harkness enjoys reading.
