This fall's mild weather has been good for more than the farmers' harvest. Brodstone Memorial Hospital continues to move forward with the construction associated with the facility expansion. Crews have worked the last several months assembling the steel frame of the building and completing concrete work. Additional dirt, generator, electrical and plumbing work has progressed as well.

The expansion which is visible to the east of the existing Brodstone facility, is expected to be closed in during the winter months to enable crews to move forward with interior work.

Construction is slated to be complete the summer of 2022. Many areas within the present hospital structure will be remodeled following the conclusion of the construction phase. This expansion will provide a new state of the art emergency room, new patient rooms, chemo infusion suites and a healing garden.

The expansion will provide the safety, security and privacy for Brodstone's patients.

This new space will also allow Brodstone to bring in additional specialists and recruit new healthcare providers to the area. This will further give Brodstone patients the convenience of having all of their healthcare needs handled close to home.
