It was a successful season opener for the Rock Hills High School girls basketball team. They edged Pike Valley 40-37 at Scandia Friday. The game was also the opening round game of the T-Bird Invitational Tournament. The Grizzlies played Clifton-Clyde at Mankato, last Tuesday, with the Eagles handing Rock Hills a 55-37 loss. The Grizzlies finished fourth in the  T-Bird tournament when they lost to Washington County, 44-29, at Cloud County Community College, Saturday. The Grizzlies fell to St, John’s-Tipton, 63-34, at Beloit Tuesday The girls now have a 1-3 record for the season.
