SHS boys golf

 


The Superior High School boys golf team competed at the Cyndi Peil Scramble hosted by Blue Hill High Scchool played over the Red Cloud Golf Course last Tuesday. Superior finished, with 276 strokes, in sixth place in the eight team field. Other teams at the event were Lawrence-Nelson, Blue Hill, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Deshler, Exeter-Milligan, Silver Lake and Red Cloud. The match was a scramble format played over nine holes.

Taygun Rothchild and Ashton Grassman teamed up for a round of 92. Rothchild had a 43 and Grassman was at 49. Aaron Allgood and Tate Streit combined for a round of 90. Allgood was in with a round of 44 while Streit shot a round of 46. Carsyn Koeing and Seth Griljava turned in a combined round of 94. Koening was in at 46 while Griljava had a round of 48.

The Wildcats are competing at the Southern Nebraska Conference match hosted by Fillmore Central High School at Geneva today (Thursday).
