Hastings resident Helen M. Kathman, 88, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Society's Grand Island Village.

Rosary was at 7 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14, at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Craig Clinch officiating. Burial was at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation was 1 to 7 p.m., with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church.
