The Superior Express -

It was just a little cooler Friday evening and a lot less humid when these ‘die-hard’ golfers teed off at the Elk Creek Country Club in Nelson. The golfers could choose only three clubs and golf their whole round.  The consensus was, “Golfers don’t need a putter to putt!”  

The scores for the week ranged from a 37 to a high gross score of only 48 by Chuck and DeAnna Tuttle.  There was a 4-way tie for low net for the week with a 33 by Donnie and Peggy Cassell, Hunter Holland and Emily Wulf, Jim and Mary Farmer and Dorrel Lipker and Molly Drohman.
