RHHS football tops Pike Valley

Troy Duskie (12) Rock Hills takes down a Pike Valley player with help from Cooper McDill (7) and Aaron Sterling (1), Friday, in action against Pike Valley.

The Rock Hills High School football team celebrated their first win of the season when they put a damper on the Pike Valley Panthers' Homecoming game. The Grizzlies took home a 54-20 win.

Rock Hills opened up a 22-12 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.

The Grizzlies passed twice in the game and were rewarded with touchdowns each time. The ground game wore down the Panthers . Grant Meyers carried the groiund game for the Grizzlies. Statistics for the game were unavailable at press time.

Rock Hills travels to Lincoln, Friday, with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
