Madison Heusinkvelt (22) returns the volleyball to the David City Scouts, in Southern Nebraska Conference play.
The Superior High School volleyball team split a pair of games at the Southern Nebrska Conference Tournamant at Milford. The team was eliminated in sub-district C2-7 play by Thayer Central Monday.
Superior downed Milford, 20-25, 25-19 and 25-18, at Milford last Tuesday in their opening round game. The Wildcats fell to David City, 25-23, 10-25 and 23-25, in three sets.
Thayer Central handed Superior a four set loss, 20-25, 25-13, 21-25 and 20-26.
Superior split the first two sets of the sub-district match. They held a 21-17 advantage in the third set and seemed to be on their way to a set win....
