L-N girls dominate Franklin

The Lawrence-Nelson girls basketball team completely dominated the Franklin Flyers, 51-7, at Nelson, Friday. The Raiders fell to Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Saturday, at Nelson. The Raiders have a 1-3 record for the season.

It was no contest against Franklin as Lawrence-Nelson scored at will. The Flyers scored two points in the first and second quarters, no points in the third and three in the fourth quarter.

Jessica Sole netted 14 points to lead the Raiders against Franklin. Kara Menke dropped through 12 points. Emily Troudt tallied six points for the game. Katelyn Mazour was good for eight points. Sydney Biltoft scored five points. Hanna Skinner scored four points. Josie Hajny posted two points. Sole took away eight rebounds. Hajny and Menke contributed six rebounds apiece. Skinner cleared away five rebounds. Biltoft snagged two rebounds. Mazour took away one rebound.

Information for the B-D-S game was unavailable at press time.

The Raiders host Friend at Nelson Friday. The Raiders travel to Shelton Tuesday for a game with the Bulldogs.
