Virgil Alvin Goos, 83, the son of Fern E. (Killough) and Joseph Jacob Goos, was born April 29, 1939, at Cowles, Nebraska. He died Jan. 7, 2023, at the Heritage Care Center in Red Cloud, Nebraska.

A lifelong resident of the area, Virgil received his formal education attending and graduating from the Cowles High School. Virgil then began his employment with SealRite Windows in Lincoln. He worked with them from 1956 until 1977. Virgil was united in marriage with Beverly Ann First on June 4, 1961, at the Congregational Church in Red Cloud. This union was blessed with two children, Becky and Randy....
